Welcome to Liz Wood Aesthetics. By booking an appointment or receiving treatment at our clinic, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Consultations & Suitability for Treatment

All clients must complete a consultation and medical history form prior to treatment.

At Liz Wood Aesthetics, client safety is our priority. Treatments are only carried out where clinically appropriate and in the clientโ€™s best interests.

We reserve the right to:

  • Decline treatment

  • Delay treatment

  • Request GP or specialist consent

  • Refuse treatment where expectations are unrealistic or unsuitable

Some treatments may require a cooling-off period in line with current UK aesthetic industry guidance.

2. Deposits & Booking Policy

A booking deposit may be required to secure appointments. Deposits are redeemable against treatment costs.

Deposits are:

  • Non-refundable

  • Transferable with sufficient notice

  • Forfeited in cases of late cancellation or non-attendance

Package bookings and promotional offers must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed.

3. Cancellation Policy

We kindly request a minimum of 48 hoursโ€™ notice for cancellations or appointment changes.

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in:

  • Loss of deposit

  • Full appointment fee being charged

  • Requirement for upfront payment for future bookings

Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings.

4. Late Arrivals

Clients arriving late may have their treatment shortened or rescheduled to avoid disruption to other appointments.

Appointments delayed by more than 15 minutes may need to be rearranged and cancellation charges may apply.

5. Medical Information & Consent

Clients must disclose:

  • Medical conditions

  • Allergies

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status

  • Previous treatments

  • Current medications

  • Any changes to health prior to treatment

Failure to provide accurate information may affect treatment safety and outcomes.

By proceeding with treatment, clients confirm they:

  • Understand the risks and benefits

  • Have had opportunity to ask questions

  • Provide informed consent voluntarily

6. Aesthetic Treatment Results

Aesthetic medicine is not an exact science and individual results vary.

While we aim to achieve the best possible outcomes, no guarantees can be made regarding:

  • Longevity of results

  • Symmetry

  • Healing times

  • Individual response to treatment

Some treatments may require:

  • Multiple sessions

  • Maintenance appointments

  • Combination treatment plans

Bruising, swelling, redness, tenderness, and temporary asymmetry are recognised treatment risks.

7. Prescribing & Prescription Treatments

Certain treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, require a medical consultation and prescription following UK regulations.

Prescriptions are issued at the discretion of the prescriber and may not always result in treatment proceeding.

Prescription charges are non-refundable once issued.

8. Payments

Payment is due in full on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed.

We accept:

  • Debit card

  • Credit card

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash

Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

9. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of medical aesthetic treatments:

  • Treatments are non-refundable once carried out

  • Courses and packages are non-refundable once commenced

  • Skincare products may only be returned if unopened, unused, and faulty

Dissatisfaction with aesthetic outcomes does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Touch-up appointments or review appointments may be offered where clinically appropriate.

10. Children & Visitors

For insurance and safety reasons:

  • Children must not be left unattended within the clinic

  • We kindly request clients attend appointments alone where possible

Visitors may not be permitted into treatment rooms during procedures.
